Per Moerkeseth is an Area Sales Manager at CMG Home Loans with over two decades of experience in banking and mortgage lending. He leads and grows mortgage teams while continuing to originate loans for a wide range of clients, including first-time buyers, credit-challenged borrowers, high-end jumbo clients, and real estate investors using both traditional and non-QM cash flow–based financing. Per’s approach starts with listening. He enjoys learning each client’s story and finding the best way to serve them, and he is known as a practical problem solver for both clients and referral partners. As a leader, he is passionate about helping his team improve their sales skills, structure loans creatively, and work through challenges together. He places a strong emphasis on building a culture that feels like family. In his role as Area Sales Manager, he is excited to not only grow his own office but also support other managers with sales strategy, recruiting, and leadership development. Outside of work, Per is deeply involved in both the industry and his community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Foundation, sits on the finance committee at Fircrest Golf Club, and is a former President of the Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association. He moved to the United States in 1986 and proudly became a U.S. citizen this year. Per is married with three daughters and a Goldendoodle, enjoys golf and skiing, and believes that a little humor goes a long way because life is too short to take everything too seriously!
Per is deeply committed to giving back to the community through his service on the Board of Directors for the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Foundation, where he also serves on the allocations committee. In this role, he helps guide funding decisions that directly support pediatric care, critical programs, and families in need. Per is passionate about using his experience in leadership and finance to make a meaningful impact and believes strong communities are built by investing in children and families when they need it most.
