Originally from Texas, I moved to Washington at 14 and have proudly called it home ever since. I graduated from the University of Washington in 1992 with a degree in Economics. My husband and I have been happily married since 1994, and we decided to return to Oak Harbor to give our children a wonderful place to grow up. Now, we have two adult children—our daughter is married to her Navy husband, and they’ve just welcomed our first grandchild, along with our beloved “grand-dog,” Sophie. Our son is working in Seattle and enjoys all that Seattle has to offer
