I have been in the mortgage industry since 2000. I was a retail manager for 20 years with Skaggs, Osco drugs and RiteAid (same company). In 2000, I got my life and health insurance and series 6 licensing and went to work for World Financial Group. While working for WFG, I found working on mortgages was my favorite and took a position as a Loan Officer with First Net Mortgage. I then went to work for Bank of Colorado in 2005, then left the Banking world to try the broker side in 2018, then back to the banking world mortgages with Independent Bank until 2024. I was also with Summit Funding, and now with CMG.
I was born in Boston Massachusetts and was raised as a military child, living in several places, mostly in Germany as a child then landed in Colorado Springs. As an adult, work took me to Chicago, Kansas City and Denver. I currently reside in Greeley, CO. Graduated HS in Colorado Springs. I had been a volunteer for many years on several organizations from chambers to local school district. I was parent organizer for the International Baccalaureate program for a few years and parent organization and treasurer for the IB theatre program.
My husband John and I have a son, Justin. In my spare time I enjoy crafts, planting and writing a book about my mother’s life during the war in Germany. I also enjoy collecting small vintage/ antiques. I am currently not on any organizations and enjoying some free time doing favorite hobbies and spending extra time with my husband and dog Charlie, and visiting my son in Los Angeles, CA who is an aspiring actor and antiquer.
