Jason Base

Born in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Ventura, California, I've spent most of my life calling Southern California home. I currently live in Camarillo, where I'm excited to be starting a new chapter as a Loan Officer with CMG Home Loans. In the past, I spent 11 years working as an automotive Service Advisor. During that time, I learned that great customer service is about much more than simply getting the job done. It's about building relationships, earning trust, communicating clearly, and making sure people feel comfortable and confident in the decisions they're making. Those are values I've always taken pride in, and they're the same values I'm bringing with me into the mortgage industry. I understand that buying a home or exploring financing options can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially with how much information is out there. My goal is to make that experience as straightforward and comfortable as possible by being approachable, honest, and available to answer questions along the way. I believe there's no such thing as a bad question, and I'd much rather take the time to explain something than have someone walk away feeling uncertain. I'm fortunate to be working alongside an experienced team at CMG Home Loans in Camarillo, bringing together more than 50 years of combined industry experience. Having that knowledge and support behind me allows me to continue developing my own expertise while helping clients explore the financing options that best fit their individual needs and goals. Outside of work, I'm a big football fan and a loyal San Francisco 49ers fan. Whether it's watching a game, spending time with friends and family, or simply enjoying life here in Southern California, I appreciate the importance of finding a good balance between work and the things I enjoy. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, building lasting relationships, and helping individuals and families navigate one of life's biggest financial decisions. For me, it's not just about helping someone get a home loan. It's about making sure they feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
