Clark was CMG's saving grace. He was fantastic and everything I would want from someone handling and helping with such a big financial decision. He was easily accessible and made himself accessible for all questions and concerns, he was professional, clear, and always willing and happy to help. There was nothing he could have done better, he was outstanding. The issues I had with this process were not on him or his fault at all, however, the communication between all parties involved could have been better. It took 5 attempts to finally close with nothing happening or updates in between most of those, just being told it was an then wasn't ready. The issue ended up being someone not taking into account that I was married, which is unsatisfactory when I had to provide my marital status and jointly filed tax returns at the very beginning of the process. This raises big concerns about a company doing it's due diligence, competence, and attention to detail for such a large task. Eventually, we were able to get it done, but I did have some frustration with how long it took. Overall, the process was smooth enough until we got to the closing itself and just getting it scheduled. I was also a little frustrated that I was doing this refinance myself but had to fix chipped paint on a detached garage and spend time and money for something cosmetic and so miniscule. Again, I think there are things that can be improved, but working with Clark was what restored and kept me with CMG through all of this and not dropping it. I hope this company values him and sees how much having someone that cared and takes pride in his position and keeps the human element of empathy and transparency through the process goes a long way. His work ethic and customer care should be the standard for everyone.
