We lost our home in the 2025 California Palisades wildfire. As a result, this sped up our original time table of buying a second home in Charleston quite a bit from original 5 year plan. Our loan officer Molly and her team were amazing in guiding and helping us through the entire process. They coordinated with various local professionals throughout the process starting with a real estate agent. Molly and the real estate agent personally worked with us and exceeded every expectation that we had. Molly went so far and spent time narrowing our prospective list of over 50+ homes adding color and local knowledge of various areas of the greater Charleston real estate market before we even arrived to see the properties in person. Molly shared her knowledge and experience of various areas of the City and surrounding areas, providing knowledge only someone that is part of the fabric of the community could. She is upfront, clear and practical, but also had a talent of reading between the lines of our reactions and subtle reactions when we let her know our initial feedback. My advice to anyone working with her is to tell her anything and everything and follow her directions! She will tell you candidly how much house you can afford! She puts the client above anyone, including herself. By the end of our trip, we put an offer in and the financing process officially began. Molly and her team are on top of things making sure we were attentive and moved the process forward. It's an intensive process, but again... LISTEN TO MOLLY'S DIRECTIONS! It will get done if you do your part as the client. From start to finish, connecting us with different professionals for various parts of the process, Molly is connected and part of the community. Ultimately our 5 year dream became a 5 month dream closing exactly 5 months to the day of our home in California. If you want a no B.S. experience and someone that can shoot straight get it over the goal line, Molly is the place to start! You'll want to kick and scream (and procrastinate) at certain points of the process, but at the end, you will be thankful that you had Molly and her team in your corner. OH. and the woman lives and breathes financial news and interest rates and yield curve (whatever that is) - she guided us through various mortgage types and explained in simple terms the pros and cons. (1) Knows the community she is part of. (2) Will triple check and make sure everyone is accountable - no excuses allowed (3) Passionate about the intricacies of borrowing for real estate and can explain and guide, as she did for us, to the best loan solution based on what's out there!
