After 22 years in the mortgage business as a mortgage loan originator, I’ve learned a lot of lessons. The purchase of a property can be a complicated process for every party involved. My goal is to put people at ease concerning the financing aspects, and provide the best advice tailored to your situation. From the first moment that I speak to a buyer, through the closing of the loan, and beyond; my primary goal is to establish trust between us, so that you know that you can count on me to perform and follow through. This goal extends to my referral partners, of course, as we work as a team to provide a great service experience.
I’ve been connected to the residential real estate industry my whole life, with family roots going back over 100 years in the business in Houston. A lot of what I’ve learned was passed down to me; but my mortgage mentors have been instrumental in shaping my approach to finding solutions for my clients. The best experience has just been working with so many good people for such a long time.
The mortgage industry may have advanced technologically, but the value of its people can’t be overstated. After all, the decisions to purchase and refinance homes, will always be very significant, financially, and as milestones in your life. Jamie has been an active member of the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association for many years, and held the office of Vice-President, and President of the organization. He’s currently serves as an Executive Committee Member. He represented Houston as an Associate Board Member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association as well. The association brings mortgage bankers together for educational and social events with a goal to give back to several local Houston charities. He also participates as an Unbound sponsor, and as a volunteer for the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation.
