Tamahara was born in Hawthorne, CA, raised in South Gate/Fontana, CA and currently lives in Santa Ana, CA. She attended Warren High School in Downey, CA and then attending Riverside Community College in Norco, CA. She belongs to the community of Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. She and her husband, Ronald Romero, have 4 kids (Iridian, Carmen, Karina and Noah) and she is a grandma to Santiago. Her daughter, Iridian, also is a proud mom and is in the Army and Carmen is in the Navy. They love spending time with their extended family and cooking Ecuadorian Food (her family is from Ecuador) and she enjoys reading books.
